It's Monday, the start of another great week at Dinosaur World! Don't forget to visit Dinosaur World for the upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend! Bring the whole family. We're always open when you have family coming in to visit. We're open every day of the year. (Well, almost, the Texas and Kentucky Park are closed Christmas Day and Thanksgivind Day only). Florida and Texas are open daily 9-6. Kentucky is open from 8:30 am to sunset central time.

Dinosaur Trees

I haven't posted since Monday. I've been busy enjoying these great visitors to Dinosaur World!

Our Kentucky location just planted ten Dawn Reedwood trees. These are special becuase these are one of the only trees with the strength and growing power to be around in the days of the dinosaurs and still flouish today. They can grow up to 100 feet tall and six feet in one year. We are now marking the trees at the park so you can see them when you visit. Come say hello to the ancient tree that thew the dinosaurs!

Thank you dad's!

Thank you to all the dad's out there that came to visit Dinosaur World on Father's Day during our free dad's promotion. We had a great turnout with many hundreds of dad's visiting us. Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Here's some of my favorite family quotes...
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove…but the world may be different because I was important in the live of a child.

Free dad's on Father's Day

Don't forget = Free dad's on Father's Day! Just bring the kiddo's. Grandpa's count too.

big orange t-rex

One thing's for sure - you can't miss our big orange T-Rex on the side of the interstate! When you see these guys, you know it's time to exit. the top picture is on I-65, exit 53 at Cave City, Kentucky, halfway between Nashville and Louisville. You can see this from the northbound. Also in Kentucky, if you look close, you can see the new Mammoth herd. But, there a bit more off the road.

The picture below is on I-4, exit 17 at Plant City. It's another icon for the area. We wouldn't want you to miss the turn! Our Texas location is off the interestate. But the entrance is equally impressive. And, it's just in front of Dinosaur Valley State Park. So, you can see our life size dinosaurs then go see some of the best preserved dinosaur tracks in the world at the state park. They are all great trips!
